GovCert – Ghana National Computer Emergency Response Team

GovCert is Ghana’s official National Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) under the National Information Technology Agency (NITA). It is responsible for coordinating responses to cybersecurity incidents and protecting the digital infrastructure of government, businesses, and citizens.

GovCert serves as the national trusted point of contact for reporting and managing cybersecurity threats. It strengthens national resilience against cyberattacks and promotes best practices in cybersecurity across sectors.

As cyber threats evolve, GovCert plays a central role in enhancing Ghana’s cyber readiness by delivering real-time alerts, conducting national-level training, and guiding recovery strategies. It ensures Ghana remains prepared and responsive to current and emerging digital threats.
